It’s our pleasure to guide you.

Each Vocationality experience is led by a trained, empathetic, and experienced vocational Guide. We’re working from our own calling to help you find yours.

Dr. Will Gray

Will is Vocationality’s founder, and the lead teacher of our courses.

Since he created the first version of Vocationality (while teaching at Clemson University), he has helped hundreds of people —everyone from teenagers who didn’t know what to major in, to adults preparing for their last work years before retirement.

Will holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of St Andrews, and taught both there and at Clemson in his “first career.” He then worked as a business consultant, creative director, and writer in his “second career” before focusing exclusively on Vocationality. He loves watching films, traveling to new places, making cocktails for friends, solving Sudoku, and hearing people’s stories.

Lonette Baity

Lonette Baity loves the art of story-telling. With a degree in Communication studies, she has spent the last decade+ helping non-profits share the ways in which they impact the community through graphic design, event planning and donor development.

In her current role, she has the privilege of creating safe spaces where people can feel known and discover the truth about who they are made to be. She does this for large groups by speaking at retreats and conferences, and one-on-one through Vocationality.

Christian Shockley

Christian brings an expertise in continuing education for adults and a passion for stories and poetry.

He loves to help people put words to who they are and what makes their difference valuable, as well as to discover how to show up as themselves through meaningful habits.

Christian holds an M.A. in Theology & Art from Kings College London.

Dawn Woods

Dawn Woods has been a counselor and teacher for over 25 years. She coaches families, teenagers, and women with the hope to cultivate healthy habits that have gotten lost in our technological age. Dawn speaks and writes, she paints and reads, and she loves the outdoors. One thing that brings her alive is engaging with individuals as they seek to grow in self-awareness, purpose, and creativity. Her value for solitude influences her wisdom and curiosity.

Dawn's undergraduate work is in English Literature and her M.A is from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Counseling.
